Morning, Monarch Shoppers!
I was actually going to skip doing an EDitorial this week as I just wasn't feeling it. I mean, don't get me wrong...rarely does a week go by without me having some sort of semi-entertaining anecdotal drivel to spoon feed my adoring fan base, but sometimes facing the dreaded “White Page of Open Office” is more than I can easily bear on Friday morning. I had actually briefly considered writing something out on the back of a cocktail napkin while I was watching my backlogged episodes of “Law & Order: SVU” and “Family Guy” last night, but I found myself barely able to stay awake during the shows and couldn't quite work up the energy to, you know, think and stuff. So I put it off until this morning and then spent all morning (during which I had a very nummy bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins, and milk at the good ol' GGC) trying to talk myself out of making the effort. Well, obviously I decided to get off my largish keister (figuratively speaking) to type out a few meager lines for you to enjoy during your lunch break. Yes, the magnanimity of my kindness brings tears to my eyes as well.
